Having always been naturally artistic, Turina won a scholarship from high school to pursue her art degree at Fraser Valley College in Canada - which she completed in 1984.

Diverse in all mediums, she works from watercolour & acrylic to oils & pastels. The subject and the surrounds itself, guide which medium would be best suited.
